About The Position
This position is responsible for managing freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment. This includes identifying, counting, separating, combining, and scanning freight, as well as utilizing warehouse management system, terminal scales, and scanners. The role also involves maintaining records, logs, and forms, and ensuring the work area is organized. Additionally, the Material Handler must monitor freight to ensure cold chain and species compliance.

- Identifies, counts, separates, combines, and scans freight.
- Utilizes warehouse management system, terminal scales, and scanners.
- Maintains records, logs, and forms.
- Keeps work area organized and maintains freight flow by stacking empty pallets and moving empty pallets using a pallet jack and/or powered equipment.
- Monitors freight to ensure cold chain and species compliance.
