About The Position

The Erlen Group is seeking a dependable part-time Material Handler to accurately handle inbound, stored, and outbound products for a variety of clients. The role involves checking loads in and out, verifying products against bills of lading and shipping documents, and supporting daily warehouse operations. Work days and hours are flexible within an agreed-upon schedule that remains consistent each week. Hours are between 2:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.; available days are Monday through Saturday, with a maximum of 29 hours per week. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

• Attention to detail and strong mathematical abilities.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds at a time.
• Ability to work for prolonged periods sitting on a forklift in cold and extreme cold conditions.

Nice To Haves

• One year of warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Move, load, and unload food products, materials, and/or packages by hand, pallet jack, or forklift from trains, railcars, and trailers.
• Handle paperwork and use scanners to ship and receive client food products accurately.
• Pick orders, select products, and control inventory as necessary.
• Transfer data manually and electronically to co-workers and the Inventory Control Team.
• Monitor warehouse inventory through cycle counts.
• Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse through assigned sanitation duties.
• Follow safety and food safety policies and procedures.
