About The Position

We are currently seeking Material Handlers for our Third Shift. The starting pay rate is $19+ per hour, with a shift differential of an additional $1.50 per hour for 3rd Shift. Core Hours for 3rd Shift are Monday through Friday, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am (starting Monday night). Saturday hours may be required from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am or until sanitation is complete, depending on production and staffing needs. Duties include opening product, feeding cheese onto the production line for wrapping and packaging, adjusting cutting equipment, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF, and safety regulations. Responsibilities also involve moving pallets, basic cleanup, assisting other positions, packing cheese product into boxes, stacking boxes on pallets, and inspecting packages and boxes for seals and code dates. Additionally, you will utilize box erecting, case sealing, and labeling equipment, and perform sanitation of the work area and equipment as needed.

• Required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Education beyond High School would be a plus
• Prior manufacturing and/or packaging experience would also be a plus
• Forklift experience is desirable

Responsibilities

Benefits

• Shift differential is an additional $1.50 an hour for 3rd Shift
• All work performed in excess of 8 hours in any work day or 40 hours straight time in any work week shall be compensated at the rate of time and one half your straight time rate.
