About The Position

The Post Consumer Brands facility in Lawrence, KS operates on a 24/7 production schedule. This position will work:
C Shift - Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and every other Friday 6:00am - 6:00pm
D Shift - Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and every other Friday 6:00pm - 6:00am
B Shift - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and every other Friday 6:00pm - 6:00am
Shift premiums: up to $1.50 per hour
In the Material Handler role, you will:

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or a GED
• Ability to comply with a strict attendance policy
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to comply with PCB Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs)
• Ability to comply with a captive uniform policy; daily PPE will include a hairnet, safety shoes, safety glasses, ear protection, gloves when necessary, and a beard net when necessary.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers in a safe and efficient manner to meet customer needs
• Maintain forklifts and other equipment to reduce/eliminate downtime
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and orderly work area to ensure employee and food safety
• Actively participate in team meetings and training
• Assist with the sanitation of warehouse
• Complete routine computer-based-trainings (CBTs)
