About The Position

A Material Handler is responsible for moving, storing and managing material in a warehouse or production environment, ensuring efficient inventory management and logistics support.

Requirements

Scanning and sorting incoming/outgoing stock.
Equipment operation such as forklifts, pallet jacks.
Receiving, stocking and stacking.
Pulling, packing and loading.
Lifting and performing physical tasks when needed to move materials.
Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
Able to work independently and as a team.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
6 months + product/warehouse experience.
Forklift certification within 90 days of job entry.
Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment.

Responsibilities

Load, unload and transport materials within the warehouse or production area using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and documenting materials received and shipped.
Ensure materials are stored in designated locations and assist in keeping organized inventory.
Monitor purge material inventory for reorder point.
Pull and verify materials for production orders, ensuring correct items are delivered to appropriate workstations.
Weigh materials and return them to designated warehouse locations within 24-36 hours.
Prebuild brown boxes for efficiency (10 each).
Inspect materials for damage and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Report any discrepancies or issues to the manager.
Ensure boxes and bags are clean of dust and pellets.
Use zip ties on bags.
