Material Handler - Warehouse Position
About The Position
Clarke Fire is seeking a Material Handler to join its warehouse team at the Sharonville location. The role involves material handling and inventory work, including stocking parts, reviewing daily inventory levels using M2M software, and loading and unloading trucks. The employee will safely operate a forklift; experience is preferred, and training is available. Light computer work is also required. This is a union role. The employee will train on first shift and may move to a third-shift schedule, with overtime available. The position offers training and an opportunity for advancement. The candidate must be a team player and able to perform duties without immediate supervision. The work requires frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting; frequent use of hands to touch, handle, and feel; and reaching with hands and arms. The employee must regularly be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance, and must be able to read and write reports. The role also includes implementing and enforcing health and safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of warehouse or stocking experience.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and able to perform duties without immediate supervision.
- Able to work as a team player.
- Able to read and write reports.
- Able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
