About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for operating warehouse equipment to ensure timely product delivery and fostering BEL USA's mission and core values to drive a constructive culture and higher performance. This role is essential for maintaining a smooth workflow for the Production Department and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Requirements

  • Must be able to foster BEL USA'S mission and core values.
  • Must operate warehouse equipment.
  • Employees must be in their current position for at least six (6) months before being eligible to apply to an open position.
  • If an employee applied and received their current position, they must stay in that position for at least one (1) calendar year before being eligible to apply to another position.
  • Employees must not have received disciplinary action or have been placed on a performance improvement plan in the six (6) months prior to the date of the application.
  • Employee must meet the minimum qualifications, as determined by BEL USA, for the position to be considered.
  • Reliable, regular attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Pull stock in accordance with printed work orders and stage for production.
  • Prepare stock for shipments of non-imprint orders.
  • Change inventory tags and keep up-to-date.
  • Maintain a constant work flow for the Production Department.
  • Ensure work area is maintained clean and clutter free.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment.
  • Pull product according to printed sample orders.
  • Put stock away in appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Package samples and materials for shipping to customers, trade shows, etc.
  • Responsible for inventory counts of samples in stock and requisitioning replacements from Production Planning.
  • Properly label samples with designated hangtag label for proper identification of sample.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area including performing general housekeeping duties i.e. sweeping, etc.
  • Load and unload materials to and from trucks, pallets, racks and vehicles.
  • Perform cycle counting and identify/report inventory record errors.
  • Read Sales/Work orders, etc to determine items to be picked and moved to appropriate production areas.
  • Enter Sales/Work orders, transfers, and scrap replacement transactions in the computer system.
  • Support teamwork through active participation and/or by helping team ideas work.
  • Perform duties safely and in accordance with Company safety policies.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
