About The Position

The Material Handler supports warehouse operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility and using material-handling equipment. Duties may include packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, verifying orders, labeling products, and using a handheld scanner. The role requires following the 7S program, maintaining a clean environment, and working safely to protect yourself and your team members. The schedule is Saturday through Monday, 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to perform basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
• Be able to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods.
• Be able to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Be able to handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Be able to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives.
