Weekend Shift Warehouse Associate

About The Position

Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations handles the manual and automated tasks involved in receiving, storing, and shipping products, ensuring products flow efficiently from vendors to internal and external customers. Warehouse team members receive and fulfill orders so customers have the products they need to care for patients. This role works a weekend schedule: Friday and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (or until the task is completed), and Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (or until the task is completed). The pay rate is $22.10 per hour, including shift differential. The position is bonus-ineligible. Training is provided starting on the first day, and candidates with little or no warehouse experience are welcome.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working regularly at heights of 20–30 feet.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
Ability and willingness to work in a refrigerator area at 36°F–42°F for up to 10 hours or longer.
Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic proficiency in English, including reading and writing, to process documents.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience working with technologies such as computers or point-of-sale systems.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Train and become certified to operate material handling equipment as required by job duties.
