About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for moving and recording the movement of materials throughout a facility. This role receives, inspects, stores, transports, and documents materials, and supports other Shipping and Receiving department functions as directed. The position is based at 34 Robinson Road in Clinton, New York, and works Monday through Friday on the first shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Computer experience.
Experience using Microsoft Office products.
Ability to operate material handling equipment, including a pallet jack and forklift.
Ability to frequently walk and/or stand.
Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
Provide own transportation for local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities.

Responsibilities

Operate material handling equipment as required to receive, store, or deliver material.
Receive materials according to established procedures.
Perform incoming inspection of material.
Document movement of materials within the ERP system.
Transport materials from storage to designated areas.
Perform cycle counts and physical inventory.
Stock supplies.
Provide support to other Shipping and Receiving department functions as directed.
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
