About The Position

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Material Handler to join its Logistics team in Columbus, MS. This role involves performing a variety of tasks essential to warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping materials. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate knowledge of warehouse and inventory control procedures, and be responsible for preparing and completing all necessary forms, records, and documents to ensure accountability and maintain the integrity of warehouse operations. The team focuses on quality, productivity, and efficiency in building and servicing aerospace products, ensuring high standards of care and safety for aircraft assembled and maintained.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related warehouse experience
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good customer service skills
  • Must be detail oriented
  • US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)

  • Prior SAP experience

Responsibilities

  • Receive all vendor purchase orders and ensure the number of cartons matches the Airway Bill or Bill Of Lading.
  • Check and receive purchase orders into SAP, bag and label as necessary, and match corresponding goods receipt documents to parts.
  • Stock parts using a hand-held scanner in accordance with warehouse procedures.
  • Pick delivery notes in order of priority using a hand-held scanner in accordance with warehouse procedure.
  • Pack shipments both physically and systematically in order of priority in SAP in accordance with warehouse procedures.
  • Ship material by priority for customer requirements in accordance with warehouse procedures.
