About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, unloading, inspecting, and transporting raw materials throughout the Doors facility in Beresford, South Dakota. The role helps keep materials organized and ensures production has the supplies needed to operate efficiently. Duties include operating a forklift, verifying incoming shipments, accurately counting and recording materials, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse and receiving area. Safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Requirements

Ability to safely operate a forklift and move materials throughout the facility.
Ability to identify wood species, accurately count materials, and record shipment information.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate professionally with coworkers.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift 50–75 pounds, including lifting above shoulder level.
Must maintain a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
