About The Position

As a Material Handler, you will support a designated division or department by handling and organizing materials and maintaining related records. The role includes inventory control, keeping accurate equipment and supply records, and stocking and restocking materials throughout a designated shop area.

The Material Handler receives, stocks, and records materials; coordinates with staff and management to identify material needs; and supplies workstations with the appropriate hardware and materials. The position may involve operating a forklift to transport, load, and unload materials. The employee must follow safety and manufacturing policies, standard work and process instructions, and identify potential risks to product quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to walk, stand, and remain physically active for extended periods.
• Ability to learn computer systems, databases, and a variety of software programs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate with coworkers.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience.
• Previous experience in an industrial or warehouse setting.
