1st Shift Material Handler – $19.91/hour
About The Position
As a Material Handler, you’ll be part of our Distribution team located in East Longmeadow, MA. This person will be responsible for receiving product from manufacturing, pack accordingly and process through our system to ship out to customers. You’ll get to: Verify product and quantity for all product using the paperwork and computer, prepare skids for shipment and load into appropriate trucks as needed. Perform cycle counts as required in Distribution. Operate various equipment such as hand trucks, lift trucks, shrink wrapper and hand strappers. Make sure the order is packed accordingly to avoid damages to our customers. Input data into the computer. Load containers/trailers as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience picking and packing materials
- Experience operating necessary PIV equipment
- Willing to work extra hours or different hours as needed
