About The Position

This is a temporary Material Handler position with a day shift schedule. The role involves loading and unloading materials, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate documentation. The position requires proficiency in various material handling tasks, adherence to quality and safety standards, and basic computer skills. The Material Handler will also be responsible for vehicle safety checks and reporting any issues.

Requirements

Ability to understand and adhere to company safety rules and regulations.
Ability to follow the procedures, techniques, tools and processes appropriate to material handling.
Excellent time management skills, maintain regular contact with site on route status, delays, or potential hazards.
Good math skills, verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of ERP systems, Oracle is a plus.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, drive, and lift up to 50 lbs.
2-3 years of material handling and outside processing or related experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record (no recent moving violations or accidents) and in-depth knowledge of road, safety and driving laws.

Oracle ERP system knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Load and unload parts or materials from delivery vehicles.
Examine documents for storage destination.
Pull stored materials and move to production or shipping area.
Document information relating to part numbers, counts, and storage locations.
Package and label materials according to specifications.
Perform inventory counts as requested.
Work with moderate supervision.
Proficient in pulling and distributing of parts (kitting, receiving, put away).
Complete daily tasks quickly, efficiently, and adhering to Quality and Safety standards.
Work with computer, printer and has knowledge of MS Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
Perform vehicle safety check as per company SOP and report any and all vehicle defect, mechanical issues, or accidents immediately to management.
