About The Position

This Material Handler position involves a range of duties including loading and unloading materials, managing storage destinations, moving materials to production or shipping areas, and documenting inventory information. The role requires packaging and labeling materials according to specifications, performing inventory counts, and working under moderate supervision. The successful candidate will be proficient in pulling and distributing parts (kitting, receiving, put away) and is expected to complete daily tasks quickly, efficiently, and in adherence to quality and safety standards. The role also involves working with a computer, printer, and requires knowledge of MS Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand and adhere to company safety rules and regulations
  • Ability to follow the procedures, techniques, tools and processes appropriate to material handling
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Maintain regular contact with site on route status, delays, or potential hazards
  • Good math skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, drive, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • 2-3 years of material handling and outside processing or related experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record (no recent moving violations or accidents)
  • In-depth knowledge of road, safety and driving laws
  • Ability to perform vehicle safety check as per company SOP and report any and all vehicle defect, mechanical issues, or accidents immediately to management

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of ERP systems, Oracle is a plus
