About The Position

This is a temporary Material Handler position. The role involves removing shipped materials from delivery vehicles, examining receiving documents for storage destination, pulling stored materials for orders and moving them to production or shipping areas, documenting information relating to the receipt, storage, or distribution of materials, and packaging materials. The position also includes performing cycle counts and using computer systems to locate material. The Material Handler works with direct supervision and must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Multi-tasking is essential, as is proficiency in pulling and distributing parts, and completing daily tasks quickly, efficiently, and adhering to quality standards.

Knowledge of basic packing and shipping techniques
Ability to understand and adhere to company safety rules and regulations
Ability to follow the procedures, techniques, tools and processes appropriate to materials handling
Good math skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Basic knowledge of Oracle and Agile systems
1-2+ years of materials or related work experience required
Valid driver’s license as required
