About The Position
This is a temporary Material Handler position. The role involves managing shipped materials, including removal from delivery vehicles, examining receiving documents, and pulling stored materials for orders. Responsibilities also include documenting material information, packaging, performing cycle counts, and using computer systems to locate materials. The position requires working under direct supervision and the ability to multitask efficiently while adhering to quality standards.
Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Multi-tasking is essential
- Proficient in pulling and distributing of parts
- Completing daily tasked quickly, efficiently and adhering to Quality standards
- Knowledge of basic packing and shipping techniques
- Ability to understand and adhere to company safety rules and regulations
- Ability to follow the procedures, techniques, tools and processes appropriate to materials handling
- Good math skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Basic knowledge of Oracle and Agile systems
- 1-2+ years of materials or related work experience required
- Valid driver’s license as required
