About The Position

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant. This role is responsible for ensuring all material is labeled and facing out in locations, rotating and consolidating inventory using 'LEAN' work practices, and de-trashing all incoming skids and disposing them to proper locations. The Material Handler will also maintain and monitor all visual re-order and Kan ban programs and demonstrate constant dedication to housekeeping, taking pride in a clean and organized workplace.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Occasionally required to climb or balance.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
