About The Position

This role is responsible for various material handling tasks within the Sidel Department on the D shift. The Material Handler will ensure adherence to all safety rules and procedures, utilize an RF scanner for tracking materials, and manage the flow of product. Key duties include moving skids, assisting with skid construction, packaging, labeling, and stacking products, preparing scrap for recycling, organizing materials on the production floor, performing inventory and cycle counts, and handling the end-of-day disposition of finished goods. The position also includes performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

Ability to follow all safety rules and procedures.
Proficiency in using an RF Scanner.
Ability to maintain the flow of product.
Skill in moving skids to designated areas.
Capability to assist with skid construction.
Experience in packaging, labeling, and stacking products.
Knowledge of scrap recycling procedures.
Ability to organize materials on the production floor.
Experience with warehouse inventory and cycle counts.
Ability to perform end-of-day disposition of finished goods.

Responsibilities

Follow all safety rules and procedures required by departments and company.
Scan materials in and out as required using an RF Scanner.
Maintain the flow of product to and from equipment.
Move skids to designated areas upon completion.
Assist with the construction of skids as required.
Package, label, and stack products as required.
Prepare recycling of scrap according to procedures.
Organize material on the production floor.
Perform inventory of warehouse/cycle count to support staging of preproduction products.
Perform end-of-day disposition of finished goods.
Perform other duties as assigned.
