Material Handler - 2nd Shift - $24.30/hr + $1.00 Shift Premium
About The Position
This role is responsible for keeping production stocked with raw materials. The Material Handler will request product from the warehouse and assign it to the designated production area, ensuring proper labeling, counting, and transport of materials to stored locations. This position also assists with job set ups, changeovers, lot closings, and line clearance. A key part of the role involves passing a written test on percentages, decimals, accuracy, and documentation. The Material Handler will be trained in the operation of hand jacks, lifting devices, cutting tools, and related material handling equipment. They must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and manipulate up to 110 lbs, and will also assist Comfort Bath Operators to stack boxes and unload material.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to manipulate up to 110 lbs
