About The Position

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation, a family-owned business for over 75 years, is a key partner with leading medical device, semiconductor, scientific analytics, and industrial systems manufacturers, providing high voltage power solutions. The Receiving Material Handler will receive and inspect incoming material, ensuring shipments are complete from the vendor. Responsibilities include storing, picking, and preparing material for shipments to Mexico. The company is committed to equal employment opportunities for all individuals.

Requirements

• High school diploma / GED required
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Knowledge and experience with import and export functions

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience of similar warehouse environments, preferably within a twin plant maquiladora framework
• Forklift certification preferred, able to use a standup forklift a plus

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive all inbound shipments from freight carriers.
• Note and report any shipment damages or discrepancies.
• Open and inspect all inbound cartons and pallets and verify contents vs packing lists.
• Note and report any discrepancies to the Receiving Team Leader.
• Store all Inbound material.
• Pick material for orders bound to Mexico.
• Load and unload trucks following safety rules.
• Participate in 5s activities, maintaining work area safe, clean and in order.
• Comply with all corporate and site-specific safety regulations.
