About The Position
The Material Handler is responsible for managing the movement, storage, and tracking of materials to support daily production and warehouse operations. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains organized storage areas, and assists with shipping and receiving activities while following established safety procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required.
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in material handling, warehousing, inventory control, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Basic understanding of material handling, inventory management, and warehouse safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively with production and warehouse teams.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift certification or prior forklift operating experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Move, store, and distribute materials to support production and warehouse operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper material tracking.
- Deliver materials to production teams as needed to support workflow and efficiency.
- Safely operate material handling equipment in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist with shipping and receiving, including loading, unloading, and organizing incoming and outgoing materials.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Follow established procedures and industry best practices for material handling and inventory control.
