About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for workplace safety procedures, quality inspections, and compliance with industry regulations and company ISO standards. The role helps maintain a safe work environment and ensures products meet quality requirements before reaching customers. The position is full-time and performed in person.

Responsibilities

Perform daily pre-shift and daily inspections of cranes.
Locate material as allocated on work orders and verify that it meets order requirements.
Process AS IS orders as required.
Operate a dual hoist crane.
Complete all necessary documents and forms.
Load and unload trucks using an overhead crane.
Perform shipping and receiving inspections.
Stack plate safely in designated storage areas.
Work with the burner operator to remove scrap and finished parts from the table.
Assist with cleaning and packaging functions as needed.
Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
Maintain safe, orderly work areas and wear proper PPE at all times.
Initiate action to prevent nonconformities relating to products, processes, and the QMS/EMS.
Identify and record problems relating to products, processes, and the Quality/Environmental system.
Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels and verify their implementation.
Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming products until deficiencies or unsatisfactory conditions are corrected.
