About The Position
Performs tasks including inspecting, distributing materials, and loading/unloading material as directed. This role involves moving processed components between operations using conveyors or carts, receiving wood from the dimension mill, stacking frames on carts and shelves, and performing quality checks on received bundles. The position requires adherence to safety protocols, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Other related duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year related experience and/or training
- Ability to print and speak simple words in English.
- Ability to work well within a diverse team environment
- Basic Math Skills
Responsibilities
- Inspect, distribute materials, and/or load and/or unload material as directed.
- Move processed components from one operation to another on conveyors or carts.
- Receive wood from dimension mill and stack the frame on cart and shelf.
- Perform quality checks for the department on the bundle received from the dimension mill.
- Keep area clean and organized.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment.
