About The Position

Responsible for working and operating in a safe manner consistent with company safety policies and procedures. Responsible for receiving incoming shipments. Ensure that incoming shipments do not have damage. Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, to ensure that incoming weights, quantities and specifications are correct. Receive document, put away and deliver incoming packages and shipments. Make sure raw materials are tagged, strapped and checked for damage. Verify correct part/lot number. Document and report raw material usage (count in / out and forced usage). Assist in verification during inventory of raw materials and finished goods. Organize and keep orderly warehouse areas for raw materials. Willingly analytic, troubleshoot and improve daily operations. Identify and perform all duties necessary to achieve the continued improvement in the receiving department and all related processes. Sweep and clean resin warehouse areas and receiving docks. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be or be willing to be trained and certified as a Forklift Operator.
  • Must be able to read, speak and write English to complete paperwork and interact with drivers.
  • Must have a good depth of perception, hand-eye coordination and driving ability.
  • Works around and with machinery and moving vehicles.
  • Must wear PPE as required by company policy.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must possess strong computer skills with the ability to navigate ERP systems, production software, Microsoft applications, email and online training platforms.
  • Work 10-hour shifts, standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Climb approved ladders and movable steps.
  • Heed safety warnings, devices, and alarms.
  • Communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 100 lbs.
  • Possess adequate problem-solving ability and determine cause-and-effect relationships in office or manufacturing environments.

  • Experience working as Dock Worker, Forklift Driver, Clamp Truck Operator.
