About The Position

Siemens is seeking a Material Handler Level I for its MCC - New PACS Facility in Wendell, North Carolina. The role supports the Electrification & Automation Business Unit by efficiently moving and managing materials, including receiving, shipping, storage, picking, delivery, and inventory management. The position works on-site and has shift hours of 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with an hourly rate of $19.00.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in warehousing material management.
• At least 2 years of experience operating forklifts, order pickers, and stand-up material-handling equipment.
• Ability to lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with SAP.
• Experience with radio-frequency (RF) scanner devices.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up reach trucks, order pickers, and sit-down forklifts in high-traffic areas and narrow aisles.
• Unload and receive production materials and record receipts in SAP.
• Count and verify incoming materials in the storeroom.
• Pick materials for internal and external customers using radio-frequency (RF) scanners.
• Pack and ship materials to prevent damage, load outgoing shipments, and provide required shipment documentation to drivers.
• Use small hand tools, including battery-powered, electrical, and air-powered tools, in support of material-handling activities.
• Follow established safety rules, processes, and methods, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Complete assigned material-handling duties independently and perform additional duties assigned by a supervisor or management.
