About The Position

Siemens is seeking a Material Handler Level II to join its MCC - New PACS Facility in Wendell, North Carolina. The role supports the Electrification & Automation Business Unit by efficiently moving and managing materials, including receiving, shipping, storage, picking, delivery, and inventory management. The position is on-site and works from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, at an hourly rate of $20.36.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in warehousing material management.
• At least 3 years of experience operating a forklift, order picker, and stand-up lift equipment.
• At least 2 years of experience with packing and crating.
• Ability to lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with SAP.
• Experience with radio-frequency (RF) scanners.
• Experience with cranes.
• Ability to train others on department processes.
• Experience with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up reach trucks, stand-up order pickers, and sit-down forklifts in high-traffic areas and narrow aisles, and inspect equipment daily.
• Unload, receive, count, and verify incoming production materials and record receipt information in SAP.
• Pick materials for internal and external customers using RF scanners and verify quantities.
• Perform daily cycle counts and pack and ship materials to prevent damage.
• Follow safety rules and established processes, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Complete assigned material-handling duties and other tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
