As a Materials Handler, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to cool the world by focusing on our customers’ needs with natural refrigeration solutions. You will help make this vision come true by supporting the production floor with parts and necessary items, managing returns, and assisting with job preparation and inventory. Requirements

General mechanical and/or refrigeration knowledge
Must be able to read a tape measure, calipers, and micrometers.
Must be able to read blueprints and drawings.
Must be a self-starter.
Must be detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED certificate
Ability to communicate and read instructions in English (Bilingualism a plus)

Responsibilities

Performs all assigned duties in a safe manner adhering to all company safety requirements
Performs assigned duties to deliver parts and other necessary items to the production floor.
Performs assigned duties to return unnecessary items back to the parts department.
Performs assigned duties to transfer parts and other necessary items from department to department.
Provides support in job preparation as needed for production of equipment.
Assist with cycle counts and inventories as required.
Provide coverage for cutting materials and prepping materials as required.
Ensure assigned areas are kept in a neat and organized manner.
Ensure accuracy of all paperwork completed.
Operate forklift as needed.
Provides general labor support, or any assigned tasks as determined by Management, as needed for production of equipment.
Accurately tracks time in Timecard system
Recommends methods for improving efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities
