About The Position

FLOFORM Countertops is seeking a full-time Material Handler for its Boise Meridian branch. The night-shift schedule is 4:40 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday. The role involves safely handling and moving heavy countertop materials and slabs throughout the warehouse, tracking inventory, preparing and checking loads, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in material handling, loading, or receiving products.
Previous warehouse experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of hand woodworking tools and the operation of power tools such as table saws and chop saws.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and quality.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Reliability and good time-management skills.
Valid driver's license and a clear criminal record check.
Ability to safely lift 35–50 pounds.
Ability to use hand tools with wrist and fine manipulation for long periods.
Ability to tolerate extended periods of standing and exposure of hands and feet to water.
Ability to read units of measurement.

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification.
Overhead crane experience.

Responsibilities

Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move heavy materials and slabs throughout the warehouse.
Track inventory.
Secure loads on A-frames using strapping, banding, cleating, or other required methods.
Move materials for FLOFORM and customers using air lifters and forklifts.
Move A-frames and safely and accurately transfer, store, or package finished and unfinished products for shipment.
Perform heavy lifting using mechanical lifters.
Double-check loads for accuracy and damage.
Maintain housekeeping standards in the assigned work area.
Follow operational safety rules for mechanical lifters and forklifts.
