About The Position

Schwing America is seeking a dependable and motivated 3rd shift Material Handler to join our Parts Department. In this role, you'll play a critical part in keeping production moving by receiving incoming materials, accurately pulling and delivering parts, preparing shipments, and ensuring inventory is organized and available when needed. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of three years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution experience.
Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
Experience using computers to access shipping information, inventory, and customer orders.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Pull parts according to production schedules and deliver materials to the assembly floor.
Receive, unload, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
Package, crate, and prepare domestic spare parts orders for shipment.
Review shipping schedules, bills of lading, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
Load and unload trucks and containers using material handling equipment.
Stock inventory and establish locations for new inventory items.
Notify production teams when incoming parts arrive and fulfill production backorders.
Work closely with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and production teams to ensure timely material flow.
Maintain adequate shipping and packaging supplies.
Assist with inventory organization and general warehouse operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
