Requirements

A GED or High School equivalent or at least 5 years of experience as a material handler or a combination of education and experience
At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift, prefer experience with stand-up and sit down.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive
Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

Operate forklift to load/unload and move materials.
Management of goods and means of transport, movements of goods (physical and ERP side).
Picking materials of all material types.
Physical inventories
Remove empties and waste from production line
Report of transport damages, over deliveries, shortage and deviations of the delivery papers
Compliance with packaging regulations
Caring for the forklift (charge battery, arrange maintenance and repairs)
Warehouse management: parking space control, stocktaking, notification of exceptional stocks to supervisor.
Perform staging of product.
Assist Shipping/Receiving Clerk with preparation of all paperwork related to shipments.
Handling of returnable packaging (loading, unloading, exclude defective packaging …)
