About The Position
The role of Material Handler is responsible for various warehouse duties including loading and unloading trucks, operating equipment, and maintaining organization and cleanliness.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of inventory control management and customer service face-to-face interaction
- Ability to climb stairs, perform lifting, work in confined spaces, work at heights, bend and kneel as well as sit and stand for long periods
- Must be highly organized and able to maintain a high standard of warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures and a dusty environment
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Have excellent math skills
- Proficient in using computers for accurate data entry and data collection.
- Able to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Operating forklifts and power scrubbers
- Throwing bags
- Recording product codes, lot numbers
- General housekeeping
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management
