About The Position

A Material Handler performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies. This role is crucial within CTDI's large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics operations, supporting major wireless telecommunications and high-speed internet providers.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Clerical skills.

Written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Executes foundational tasks within a warehouse environment including but not limited to: packaging, unpackaging, put away, sorting, staging, picking, shipping and preparing units for production.
Cut open boxed inventory in the storage area or on the rack.
Place open boxes on the appropriate shelf of the flow rack.
Walk the length of the flow rack.
Wrap cords neatly and securely, ensuring they are tangle-free.
Assist with labeling, tagging, or color-coding wrapped cords as needed for easy identification.
Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals.
Complete required paperwork, forms, or digital records accurately and promptly for documentation purposes.
Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
