About The Position

This role is for a full-time Material Handler position. The team member will be responsible for various tasks related to material handling, including loading and unloading trucks, sorting merchandise, operating a baler machine, and maintaining a safe and clean working area. Responsibilities

  • Assisting unloading or loading trucks.
  • Sorts merchandise into containers for storage, processing, distribution, and recycling.
  • Operates baler machine to prepare specified material for distribution.
  • Maintains accurate record keeping of recycling output.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working area.
  • Visually inspects equipment prior to operating to determine if equipment is safe to operate.
  • Utilizes safety checklists to maintain accurate record keeping of equipment safety inspections.
  • Obtains and maintains license to operate forklift and walk behind stacker.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in the above duties, responsibilities, and equipment operation through evaluation.
  • Assists with basic periodical maintenance of industrial equipment.
  • Complies with all agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
