About The Position

This role is for a full-time Material Handler position. The team member will be responsible for various tasks related to material handling, including loading and unloading trucks, sorting merchandise, operating a baler machine, and maintaining a safe and clean working area. Responsibilities

Assisting unloading or loading trucks.
Sorts merchandise into containers for storage, processing, distribution, and recycling.
Operates baler machine to prepare specified material for distribution.
Maintains accurate record keeping of recycling output.
Maintains a clean and safe working area.
Visually inspects equipment prior to operating to determine if equipment is safe to operate.
Utilizes safety checklists to maintain accurate record keeping of equipment safety inspections.
Obtains and maintains license to operate forklift and walk behind stacker.
Demonstrates proficiency in the above duties, responsibilities, and equipment operation through evaluation.
Assists with basic periodical maintenance of industrial equipment.
Complies with all agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
