The Seasonal Material Handler supports workflow and distributes supplies to staff in production areas of the Kentucky Distribution Center (KDC). The role involves surveying packing stations and aisle locations, documenting inbound and outbound materials and supplies, requesting packaging quantities, and replenishing assorted items in the appropriate packing areas. Replenishment includes supply storage, self-service setup, and pack stations, with priority given to the self-service area for easy retrieval of small supplies. Work areas must be kept uniform and neat, including removing trash and empty boxes from packing stations and placing them in receptacles at the ends of lanes. The Material Handler responds promptly to packing staff to support accurate and available supply inventory, pulls materials from storage and transports them to production areas, and performs the KDC's complete picking operation. The role also receives incoming finished goods and puts them away in the correct inventory locations, verifies inventory levels, prepares replenishment restock order forms as needed, and checks stock levels and outstanding purchasing requisitions. The position uses material-handling equipment, including an AAV, Print & Apply equipment, Zebra printers, a cardboard bailer, and pallet jacks. Duties include maintaining the cardboard bailer; assisting Packing and Outbound Operations with transporting orders and cartons to Shipping; and addressing Print & Apply, AAV, and Zebra printer alerts, cleaning, maintaining, and replenishing equipment as needed. The Material Handler communicates supply needs, area coverage, and equipment issues; works cross-functionally with the USGDC to coordinate timely supply delivery; periodically checks email, participates in e-learning classes, and keeps information updated in Self-Service. The employee must follow safe work procedures for Material Handling and Dock Operations, comply with worksite safety requirements and Tiffany & Co. policies and procedures, and promptly report incidents and safety issues to the assistant manager. The role may require overtime during the holiday season, one required Saturday per quarter, and flexibility to work in other areas to meet business needs.
