About The Position

Aerovel (the Airbus Helicopters Flexrotor Program) is looking for a Material Handler to join our Warehouse Operations Team based in Bingen, WA. In this role you will perform a variety of tasks in support of warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, picking and shipping of material. Including using knowledge of warehouse and inventory control procedures. Preparing all required forms, records and documents to ensure accountability for all transactions required in order to maintain the integrity of warehouse operations.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years warehouse experience
  • Must be a US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good customer service skills
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in English
  • Ability to effectively use a computer

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Costpoint experience
  • Hazmat certifications (49CFR and IATA)

Responsibilities

  • Kit manufacturing orders using Costpoint in accordance with warehouse procedures.
  • Deliver material to the respective technicians.
  • Relieve finished goods and stock the material in accordance with warehouse procedures.
  • Receive all vendor purchase orders and ensure number of cartons match the Airway Bill or Bill Of Lading
  • Check and receive purchase orders into Costpoint, bag and label as necessary and match corresponding goods receipt document to parts.
  • Stock parts using Costpoint in accordance with warehouse procedures.
  • Transfer material to and from buildings.
  • Pack shipments both physically and systematically in order of priority in Costpoint in accordance with warehouse procedures and ASTM (American Society of Testing and Materials) Standards
  • Ship material by priority for customer requirements in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned
