About The Position

At Richelieu Foods, we are looking for a 1st Shift Material Handler for our Beaver Dam Repack facility. This role is responsible for transporting supplies, communicating with internal customers, maintaining sanitation, and ensuring efficient department operations.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
2 Years of consistent and safe fork lift operation on a stand up forklift.
The ability to read and understand Line schedules and material needs.
Positive attendance record.
Safe operation of stand-up fork truck.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Transport all needed supplies correctly and on time to required line or pre-batch area.
Communicate with internal customers to determine proper quantities and placement of items needed.
Responsible for complying Good Manufacturing Practices, maintaining proper sanitation and housekeeping in area.
Properly put away any warehouse picks.
Communicate and coordinate with other Material Handlers to ensure efficient operation of the department.
Inform proper departments or supervisors of any issues or concerns.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
