Material Handler - 1st Shift

About The Position

Creative Foam is seeking a Material Handler to move materials in support of manufacturing needs. The associate will use a standard stand-up reach truck and/or sit-down forklift to move inventory to machine operators at various work centers. When not operating a forklift, the associate will load and unload product and assist with shipping and receiving. The role also maintains accurate inventory and uses the Plex Warehouse Management System to track inventory and shipments. The associate is expected to work independently with minimal direction, manage daily activities to meet production schedules and company objectives, identify and address problems, and collaborate with fellow associates. First-shift hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

Hold or obtain forklift driver certification.
Pay is commensurate with education and experience.

Nice To Haves

2+ years of reach truck experience preferred.
2+ years of experience working in a Warehouse Management System.

Responsibilities

Move inventory to machine operators at various work centers using a stand-up reach truck and/or sit-down forklift.
Load and unload product when not driving a forklift.
Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
Maintain accurate inventories.
Use the Plex Warehouse Management System to track inventory and shipments.
Work independently with minimal direction to meet position objectives.
Manage daily activities to meet production schedules and company objectives.
Identify problems and implement practical solutions with minimal direction.
Work as a team with fellow associates.
