About The Position

The Material Handler supports shipping and receiving operations by handling incoming and outgoing parts, materials, and finished products. The role verifies shipments against packing lists, maintains counts and records, distributes small-package materials, and routes paperwork to the appropriate departments. The employee maintains a clean work area, coordinates with other departments, and may take on assignments in other areas as needed. The role requires following safety, environmental, and company procedures and attending in-house training.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Pass the company-required assessment or requirement (the description does not specify what this is).

Experience in shipping or material handling, including use of a forklift and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

Receive or prepare incoming or outgoing parts, materials, and finished products for shipment.
Verify items against packing lists, make counts, and maintain records.
Distribute incoming small-package materials to designated departments.
Log, copy, and distribute paperwork to appropriate departments as directed.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the work area.
Work overtime when required by management.
Accept assignments in other areas or departments as needed.
Maintain proper liaison with all departments to contribute to the team philosophy.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Follow safety regulations and comply with SOPs, DEP, EPA, OSHA, FDA, and cGMP requirements while performing duties.
Follow all environmental and OSHA requirements.
Attend in-house training sessions.
