About The Position
As a Material Handler (Material Bander/Wrapper), you will serve as the engine of our facility's logistics, keeping inventory and raw materials moving safely and efficiently across departments. This role involves safely transporting materials, ensuring quality and proper packaging, managing inventory, providing operational support, and collaborating with team members to meet production targets and safety standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of relevant manufacturing/warehouse experience.
- Ability to obtain a Lift Truck Operator license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong computer literacy for inventory tracking software.
- Demonstrated safety-first mindset.
- Adaptability to shifting priorities.
- Collaborative team attitude.
- Willingness to work overtime and cross-train as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate lift trucks and equipment to move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods between production, warehouse, and shipping areas.
- Weigh, inspect, label, and wrap finished products to meet customer standards and quality specifications.
- Perform cycle counts, resolve digital vs. physical stock discrepancies, and log inventory transactions in our tracking system.
- Supply departments with packaging materials, support core cutting, assist with 5S housekeeping, and serve as backup for shipping coordination.
- Coordinate with shift team members to hit daily production targets and support site-wide safety standards.
