About The Position

Triton Metal Products is seeking a detail-driven, reliable, and quality-focused Material Handler to support its metal fabrication operations. The role safely moves raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods throughout the facility, and helps ensure production teams have the materials they need when and where they need them. The stated schedule is Friday through Sunday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Requirements

Able to manage tasks without micromanagement.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced operations environment.
Able to lift 60 lbs. and operate pallet jacks.
Strong attention to detail, including thorough double-checking of operators’ parts.
Adaptable, with a positive attitude and willingness to help other team members.
Willing and able to perform any job assignment as production levels shift and job priorities change.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience.
Knowledge of raw materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
Experience as a material handler or warehouse worker; manufacturing-environment experience is preferred.
Basic understanding of inventory processes, work orders, job travelers, and WIP ID.

Responsibilities

Safely move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods throughout the facility.
Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, pallet jacks, walkies, and other material handling equipment.
Stage materials for machine operators according to job travelers, production schedules, and work orders.
Band, wrap, label, and prepare materials for internal and external customers.
Support the production team by maintaining steady, timely material flow to avoid downtime.
Validate the system accuracy of WIP ID and work with the foreman to ensure operators have work staged at their machines.
