About The Position

The Portland, Oregon team is expanding, seeking a committed and collaborative professional for this Material Handler role. The position reports directly to a supervisor or division manager and is field-centered, involving work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions. The primary focus is to assist the site supervisor while maintaining an orderly, safe, and healthy workplace.

• Experience operating a fork lift is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Follows standard processes such as inventory control, productivity, problem solving, and problem solving skills.
• Adheres to all safety rules and regulations while performing all duties.
• Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
• Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
• Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Makes deliveries to work sites as needed
• Other duties as assigned.
