Kodak Alaris Colorado is the home of Kodak Moments Thermal Media Manufacturing and the Windsor Regional Distribution Center. The operations are responsible for the manufacturing and distribution of thermal media for photographic applications. The Material Handler II – Logistics is responsible for picking materials, performing second checks on orders, loading and unloading shipments, receiving product, and preparing materials for shipment. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, dependability, and attention to detail to ensure correct and on-time deliveries to customers. The Material Handler II works within a small, highly dedicated team that maintains a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. Accuracy in shipping and receiving, as well as compliance with safety and quality standards, is critical to success in this position.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a material handling, warehouse, or logistics role.
  • Proven reliability and punctuality; must be on time and ready to work each scheduled day.
  • Ability to repeatedly bend, squat, and lift in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience with inventory control practices and procedures.
  • Steel toe shoes and safety glasses must be always worn while on the warehouse floor.
  • Experience operating a fork truck (stand up) for product movement throughout the warehouse.
  • Proficiency with warehouse computer systems, including scanner guns and ERP systems, and the ability to navigate multiple system screens.
  • Strong attention to detail with constant visual inspection of materials.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous movement throughout the shift, including picking, second checking, palletizing, and staging orders.
  • Ability to stretch wrap pallets and safely move materials in and out of storage racks.
  • Fork truck operation experience, including unloading wide rolls from containers and placing materials into storage areas (as needed).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 lbs. on an occasional basis throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Pick materials accurately using scanner guns, pick sheets, and the ERP system.
  • Perform second checks on picked orders to verify correct product, quantities, labeling, and overall product condition prior to shipment.
  • Load and unload materials for domestic and international shipments, including UPS, FedEx, R&L and overseas containers, with emphasis on preventing product damage.
  • Receive incoming materials from various suppliers into the warehouse using the ERP system.
  • Unload and receive thermal wide rolls from overseas containers and place materials into designated storage locations.
  • Prepare pallets by applying the appropriate amount of shrink wrap to ensure shipment stability and protection.
  • Examine all materials for product quality, proper labeling, accurate counts, and general appearance to ensure customer quality standards are met.
  • Report productivity issues, quality concerns, or discrepancies to the manager in a timely manner.
  • Assist with inventory counts and blind cycle counts as needed.
  • Maintain all required training, including Fork Truck certification and all company-mandated (KA) training.
  • Work independently while maintaining strong communication and collaboration within the logistics team.
