About The Position

The Material Handler supports production by efficiently handling materials and helping ensure smooth operations. The position is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and involves staging and organizing materials, operating material-handling equipment, processing material transactions, maintaining inventory accuracy, and following safety procedures. The role requires working 12-hour rotating shifts and lifting objects up to 40 pounds.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Forklift experience is required.
Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
Ability to lift objects up to 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

One year or more of related experience.
Experience with Oracle.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

Stage and organize materials in designated areas.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Operate forklifts, walkie riders, order selectors, or pallet jacks as needed.
Pick and pull materials from the warehouse or Kanban areas while performing Oracle transactions.
Verify and stock returns from production back to warehouse or Kanban locations.
Ensure the accuracy of part, lot, quantity, and location when pulling materials.
Move finished goods from the staging hall to the warehouse.
Perform label control to ensure information accuracy.
Reconcile work orders and ensure the correct materials are issued.
Perform daily cycle counts and zone counting as instructed.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
Execute shift tasks and handle move orders and material requests.
Fix Oracle errors as needed.
