About The Position

This role is responsible for various material handling tasks, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials. The Material Handler will work under direct supervision and is expected to perform duties efficiently while adhering to quality and safety standards. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, preparing orders, and documenting material movement using computer systems.

Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Multi-tasking is essential
• Proficient in pulling and distributing of parts
• Completing daily tasks quickly, efficiently and adhering to Quality standards
• Knowledge of basic packing and shipping techniques
• Ability to understand and adhere to company safety rules and regulations
• Ability to follow the procedures, techniques, tools and processes appropriate to materials handling
• Good math skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Basic knowledge of Oracle and Agile systems
• 1-2+ years materials or related work experience required
• Valid driver’s license as required

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Remove shipped materials from delivery vehicles
• Examine receiving documents for storage destination
• Pull stored materials for orders and move to production or shipping area
• Document information relating to receipt, storage, or distribution of materials
• Package materials
• Perform cycle counts
• Use computer system to locate material
