About The Position

Tolin Mechanical, an established, well recognized and respected HVAC service contractor, is looking for an experienced Material Handler to join our Fort Collins Branch. We are seeking a candidate who meets the qualifications listed below. This position requires someone who is self-motivated, professional, and a solid team player. The Material Handlers are responsible for performing tasks that support the logistics team and support the technicians in the field. Excellent communication skills, a hard-working attitude, and ability to follow and demonstrate safe practices are essential to success in this role.

Requirements

Willingness to work flexible hours and long distance driving in the mountains
Ability to drive defensively
Material handling experience
Knowledge of Denver metro area
Experience and demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal departments, vendors, and customers
Certification to operate a forklift
Over 18 years of age
High School diploma or GED
Ability to bend and lift up to 50lbs
Strong written and verbal English skills
Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing materials and equipment
Status reporting on all matters affecting service operations
Use of assistive devices such as hoists and lifts
Use of protective devices such as padding, and straps
Ensuring a safe work environment
Operation of company vehicles to deliver / pick up materials to and from field techs and other branches
Securing building before and after business hours
Supporting logistics team with other tasks as needed
Internal relations and collaboration with other teams
