About The Position

As a Material Handler at GXO, you will help provide supply chain solutions to customers by moving material and inventory throughout a facility. The role may also include packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, verifying orders, labeling products, and using a handheld scanner. You will follow the 7S program, maintain a clean work environment, and work safely to protect yourself and your team members. The position requires physical activity and the ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to perform basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
Be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
Be able to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.
Be able to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods.
Be able to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
Be able to handle or manage tools or equipment.
Be able to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a warehouse environment.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed.
Experience using a handheld scanner.
Positive attitude and ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
