About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for supporting daily facility operations through the safe handling, movement, and documentation of materials. This role assists with loading and offloading trucks, witnessing DEA-regulated loads, performing quality control checks, maintaining facility logs, and supporting housekeeping and maintenance activities. The Material Handler plays a key role in promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Valid State Driver’s License
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to utilize hand tools, power tools, hand truck and forklift
• Kneeling, crawling, stooping, bending or twisting for extended periods of time
• Walking and/or standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Load and offload trucks; assist with validation and verification of all inbound and outbound loads.
• Witness DEA-regulated loads as required.
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure material accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain required facility logs in accordance with permits and regulatory requirements.
• Support general housekeeping and upkeep of the facility.
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Drive a commercial vehicle to pick up and transport materials to designated locations safely, meeting scheduled appointments.
• Perform all duties in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT requirements.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and/or Director of Operations.
