About The Position

This position is Hourly, Full time (Second Shift), Monday - Friday, 2:30 am - 11:00 pm. The Material Handler will receive, store, and distribute materials and products within a warehouse using a Warehouse Management System and supporting production lines.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
A minimum of 4 years’ experience of forklift operations and training
Experience using a computerized Warehouse Management System
Must have good command of the English language and the ability to read and understand written instructions
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations to accurately complete job tasks
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements
Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished written or orally in English
Ability to use basic tools, various material handler equipment and hand-held scanners
Must exhibit promptness and attention to detail

Responsibilities

Expedite the unloading of material from trailers, verifying item numbers and checking for discrepancies
Receives PO’s using a handheld computerized Warehouse Management System
Reads Production Work Tickets to determine items to be picked and staged in the Work Order staging area
Participate in daily cycle counting program
Pick and stage orders by interpreting customer-specific work instructions
Adhering to the company’s safety standards and enforcing safety regulations
Maintain clean and orderly work area and warehouse
Responsible for the accuracy of all system transactions
Verify that the quality of outbound loads meets customer expectations
Responsible for adhering to and maintaining the company’s ISO standards
